Deep Jagriti Foundation is introducing a Donation Refund Policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of donation refund requests as digital payments are becoming more prevalent. Deep Jagriti Foundation expects all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. Deep Jagriti Foundation also recognizes that donations can be made by mistake or donors can change their mind.
Deep Jagriti Foundation will investigate and attempt to refund each request for a refund of donations. Deep Jagriti Foundation may also call for further information/documents and the donor should cooperate in this regard.
However, Deep Jagriti Foundation is under no obligation to refund and may at its discretion decline any request for refund of donations, especially if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
If you want your donation to Deep Jagriti Foundation to be refunded, You must make a request for refund to Deep Jagriti Foundation in writing or by email and your request must reach Deep Jagriti Foundation within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of your donation, the date on which you: donated online, electronically or by other means, or Handed over the cheque / demand draft to Deep Jagriti Foundation or any person authorized by Deep Jagriti Foundation for this purpose, or
Cheque / Demand Draft sent by other means to Deep Jagriti Foundation.
A written request stating the reason for requesting the refund must be sent to the address below and must include all details related to the donation:
- Date of donation and Donation amount.
- If the donation was made through cheque/draft, please provide the cheque/draft number.
- If the donation was made via credit card, please provide the credit card number. (last 4 digits only).
- If the donation was made online, please provide the Donation-ID.
